Hi I basically never use my phone for calls/texts...
I was wondering if there's any kind of plan that keeps your 3G connection for data, but deletes the option for calls/texts, like the iPad has? I have an iPhone 4 btw.

These micro sims won't work in an iPhone 4.
Looking for an iPhone 4 micro sim?

They probably say that as people will expect them to be voice enabled.

Good point. They're free, so may as well try one!

Hmm... could save myself about £20 a month but then I'll need to be actually paying straight out for an iPhone each time, painful.

Just get a 30 day rolling contract. You'll get texts and voice, but you'll also get a good data package. Take a look at GiffGaff for example, £10 a month and you get unlimited data...

Unfortunately not, but there is an 'official' solution:
