Got a 1.0 engine,box,loom,ecu baisicly everything for a 1.0 am I best of scraping it or selling it it was a decant engine 80k miles just sat here doing nothing

Hate to bare bad news but you won't get thousands for it.
Stick it on eBay and see how it goes is all you can do.

Try selling it first, I got rid of mine for £50 within a day or 2 off it being up for sale Better than giving it to the scrap man

Tbh mate what ever I get is a bonus just looked at eBay last few completed x10xe went for 200 250 will stick it on eBay for 100 BIN or best offer

theres definately a market for it like ian said. i was looking for one a few months ago to fix a friends car and they were all going for silly money so she just sold the car

i had one on eaby starting at 99p and didnt sell
so i threw it at a pikey and got £20
