i used gloss but i wish i'd done matt now, it would have fitted in with the rest of the interior better

Why does everyone spray their hoodlining? Why not trim it?

Spraying is easy, cheap and people who have trimmed it have had issues with sticking, Plus its harder to make it look nice IMO.

i did mine with quidland paint, took a few coats cos it soaks it up well

I trimmed mine with black velour. Its light and it looks and feels fantastic. Took about 4 hours and it wasnt that expensive. It hasnt unstuck or sagged and people cant tell it apart from factory

What adhesive did you use? Would be good to know as i'm tempted to trim mine in leatherette. Sorry for the thread hi-jack

Don't use spray adhesive, used it on mine and it sagged like a motherfucker after about a month! I'd use brushable stuff

Yeah, the 3M stuff is wank. I've heard Landau cement is good? just seeing what people have successfully used.

I used Selley's Quik Grip Gel. Im not sure if you can get that over there, but im sure you have an alternative. Also, if what you mean by leatherette is vinyl, i wouldnt recommend it as its heavy and may make the ceiling board sag

you spraying your sun visors? i sprayed mine with no primer just a quick rub down and they came out great

Ive spayed mine. Just wiped over with grease and wax remover and sprayed with satin red vinyl and plastic paint with a coat of clear. Also cut that half wrap around band off
