hi
hopefully someone can help me, i have a vauxhall astra van, 04, 2.0 DTI. Have read ECU codes and are as follows:
P1105 - barometric pressure sensor, cause either wiring or barro sensor
P0105 - boost pressure not plausable with barometric pressure, cause either MAP sensor or barro sensor
my question is, would it make sence to try the barrometric sensor then if no luck try MAP sensor? and where are both these sensors located ?
have checked wiring etc.
any help would be great
thanks

Barometric sensor is used to measure the altitude the car is at, so the higher you clime from sea level the thinner the air becomes and will adjust fueling to keep in the check the mixture.
How far above sea level are you?
