Can some one tell me why my engine management light keeps coming on randomly whilst driving and then goes off after about 30 seconds? It used to happen on my old 8v B too but I did paperclip test and was the lambda sensor which I replaced but the problem still existed. Any help appreciated cheers

Is it def lamda sensor that flashes up. Could be egr value common for it to flash on and off now and then.

Yeah error code is 0130 which is heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor. But why would it come on randomly then go off?

My bad sounded like an idiot ill replace that then cheers
