A mate is going to view one of these tomorrow. Are the engines any good? Ideally he doesn't want a diesel but the reviews he's read there not the best engine and I know a couple of people have had vectra C's.

Is it a diesel he is going to see??

IIRC they are the old 2.2 unit that they used in the Vectra B.Around 130bhp and from what ive read,not that good on fuel.

Petrol, he's been offered it for 2K 2004 reg

2004 should have the updated chain kit so no worries on that front.

Whats the spec and mileage??2k is a decent price,but these cars vary in price due to mileage alone.

Can get say a 2002 SRi 2.2 with approx 100k for around 1500 in good condition.

Im currently looking for 1 to replace my Astra.

Dont know the mileage but it's a 2.2 Sri in silver. If I had the money I would have 1 tbh.
