What kind of pedals/cleats did you go for?

Tried the Look/SPD-SL system but didn't get along with it being a single sided pedal.

Much prefer the MTB SPD system.

Riding a road bike in baggy clothes is a huge disadvantage in comparison to someone in lycra.

Normal clothes don't move properly for cycling.

I recently got a Troy Lee Designs cycling polo, looks like a normal polo but its made from cycling shirt material so its comfy and light when riding a bike. Then when you go in the pub after you finish your ride you don't look like a weirdo

That looks ok, going out dressed like you are in the Tour de France makes you look like a pillock.

I'm not in to that look either. I like cycling specific fit clothes that have been designed to look like normal clothes.

So funny when we're out on mountain bikes somewhere and some one going the other way goes past on his mountain bike wearing lycra shorts and a fully sponsored up jersey They never seem to speak either if wearing lycra.

I wear lycra when I am out on my bike, just wear plain jerseys though.

If I was mountain biking I would wear baggy clothes I think.

Also IMO wearing a team jersey for cycling is no different to wearing the football shirt of the team you support for playing footy.

The only branded jersey I have is a planet x one, wouldn't mind a HTC highroad one now they're pretty much finished though.

Most likely Sky.

I wanted a Sky jersey but at £81 I was put off. Europcar was only £41.
