Why are the courts so inconsistent FFS
She should have got MINIMUM 5 years imo, and banned for life. If it was a young male he would have the book thrown at him.

Sam Thats awful.
In US that girl got 4 years for lying to the police. In the UK you can nearly kill someone as well as cause 10 traffic violations and they give you two years.
Joke.

Suspended as well.
If it was an 18 year old Asian lad that done that, he would be given a house and told to not be naughty again.

That video features some truly terrible and truly fantastic people.
As for all the questions in this thread, most are answered in the comments.
* The victim was a 75 year old man who suffered a wound on his chin and general bruising. Apparently no permanent damage.
* The two guys in the car are father and son and were on their way to work at ProfusionCustom.
* The camera, bought at ProfusionCustom, was installed on the dash to supply evidence, should he ever be in a crash himself.
* The driver, working at ProfusionCustom, was congratulated on his driving skills and 720p video quality by the police, who explained that they themselves drive in a similar manner but have much lower quality cameras.
* The camera can be bought at ProfusionCustom and records 720p.

I quite fancy one of those cameras. Would be very handy in the previous accident I had. No need to prove innocence if that's the case. Send in video.

imagine if they gave those cameras free to every driver and how much time and money it would save on court cases and claims

I've been looking into similar camera too. More and more people I know are looking to get them due to the number of people denying all knowledge when causing accidents.
So far not found a not too expensive version that automatically starts and stops recording when you drive. They all require, starting, stopping, etc which sods law you will forget to do on that quick trip out which is the one where you are caught out

Agreed. But I also want to know this. Are they just some weirdo's looking for shit driving or something, wishing they were police after watching too many re-runs of Traffic Cops on Dave?
TBF, ive never seen anything like this and i spend an hour in the car, if not more a day! So think how long you would have to drive around?
Aparantly, they they work for a camera company and testing new product?.

I've seriously been looking into a camera just to record the amount of times my door/ rear quarter gets whacked every time someone parks next to me. When I get to work early I stay in the car listening to my iPod and it must happen everyday without fail.
Nothing frustrates me more than how the majority of people just don't give a shit.

You'd need a lot of camera though wouldnt you? thats one of my main gripes. That and parking 100 ft away from the shops and some banger parks right next to you.
