my bodyshop has been taken over by a large insurance company, We have no flexibilty any more (used to be able to order any car part i wanted and pay it back over like two months) , no guarantee'd bonus. We used to just do prestige but now we get all sorts of crap!
i have cut down on spending because i am worried about getting made redundant.
All in all quite shit. I want to live in america!

The company is now doing very well and i work my arse off. I'm going to ask for more monies that i was promised months back.
Basically i want to move out the apartment i'm living in now for personal reasons and move closer to work. The 90 mile commute is also starting to take it's tow.
So you got made redundant then brought back on 7k more with a company car...

How has it affected you?
It hasn't, Not one bit.
Have you had to make cuts to luxuries?
No, In fact I have more than I did before the recession aparantly started.
Been made redundant?
No, I finished my apprentichip then found full time work doing something specialist in a company that there isn't many doing the type of work in the UK.
Cautious on your spendings?
Not really. Have a few more out goings but I can manage them adequately with money to spare for little luxuries.

Got a new better job
Got several payrises
Bought a house
Bought a nice newer car
Got dumped.
However the house and maybe the car are probably.the only real things I could have achieved through the recession. The others would more than likely happen still
