Just a query! Im building a 20xe corsa and deciding on what to do with the engine as far a tuning. Having never felt the way a 2litre corsa goes wonder if anyone local ish could just give me a quick run out in theres?

depending on what 20XE lump u have depends on how the corsa will shift aqll in all they prity quick

...and depending on the gear box too

never actually been in a xe corsa but been in a xe nova with a f16 and some head work and oooof is all i have to say

if you get a go in a mates that would make you expect that kind of speed and could dissapoint you when yours is on the road or might not

cheers for the input, i was just wanting to see what one went like so i had somthing to expect cloest ive been in is a corsa C 1.8 which wasnt that quick tbh :-/

Tbh mate you'll end up disappointed when you drive yours, IMO c20let it instead, redtop b's are totally overrated there not fast. Nippy if anything.

they are quick. I've owned redtops and now I own a c20let and yeah the let is a lot quicker, but them old valver engines are still impressive.

tbh my mate had a 1.8 rollin roaded at 136bhp, but it wasnt quick at all, would get to 135mph but only on a road long enough,
power delivery and torque curve is totally different in a redtop, ul be surprised at how well the redtop pulls a little corsa and makes a crackin track engine.

my mate has got a 1800 corsa c sri and it selling it to make way for a corsa b red top as he says all the corsa c sri is is an over rated petrol drinker if that help u mate

i remember being in the sri and it wasnt quick at all, thats what i was thinking the redtop would have alot more torque....il just have to see could always tune it in good time!

but what u have to take into account a corsa B waighs less than a corsa C aswell and a slight bigger power out put will make a corsa B feel faster
