Was just an induction kit fitted before the airbox. Still funny tho.

Don't get how this guy thought that was the right way to weld a diff.

My mechanical knowledge is shit but surely you can see he's actually welded the diff solid. Hows the car/truck going to move?

Remember seeing this a good while back.

He should welded the gears inside the diff, not the two outer ones basically.

What he welded was the ring gear and the pinion gear, What you should do, is weld together the side gears and the spider gears.

Thus now there is no movement in the axle both wheels turn at the same speed all the time, even if turning etc whereas previously it would of been the outside one going faster.

Always, no! NEVER weld your diff solid. You will experiance some (lets call it it) "dragging" when you apply the throttle.

Actualy, this welded diff malarky.......I use welded diffs in the Nova stock car. Gives great traction off the bends and a tendency for oversteer, get it wrong in a bend though and you are going offroad backwards, fight the oversteer and youll snap driveshafts!

Best bet, a plate diff!
