As above. Bought a Dell Studio XPS 435MT, just wondered how easy it would be to put the gubbins in a bigger case for some better ventilation?

Easy normally but the dell bits might be funny sizes.
You probably won't get better ventilation though, it'll be designed to get rid of the heat fairly efficiently anyway.

Pass if it's a Dell. Not sure what the desktops are like these days but they used to have there own unique small factor size for cards and power supplies etc... Difficult to transfer into a bigger case unless you can get adapters from ebay an the likes...
If they are all standard size internals, then it's easy. Just like building a PC. Ensure your new PC has the correct back plate for the motherboard, most will have several configurations, ATX, micro ATX etc... Then swap over all the rest of the drives, cards etc... Depends on how much of a neat freak you are with the internal cables

Have a quick google but from memory Dell Studio's use ATX gear, apart from the PSU which isn't ATX so you'll need to get another, so it should be a straight swap and about 15/20mins work if you take your time.

Larger case doesn't necessarily equate to better ventilation.
Only real bonus is a larger fan is quieter.
