Construction seems to be picking up abit a well. The guy thats wants me to work with him said he's just waiting for some jobs to come through next week. A few friends i went college with have also found people to work him in the last few months.

I've also been looking at these type of courses but for electricians. Its £3.5k and tbh the job prospects after the course don't look too good.

I couldnt get a job at 22 with a propper 4 year apprenticeship, a transit van and all my own tools, I eventualy had to go self employed and muster up what I could before I managed to get a permanant job as a contractor. its a decent wage but its alot of worry and hasseli
ts not all smiles and a wipe of designer grease on your cheek like in the adverts

 plumbings easy, there is loads of jobs in it because every needs a plumber and all plumbers are loaded, well that what I get told all the time

How could you not find one when your qualified? There is loads of jobs here for plumbers and electricians but you have to be fully qualified to get them.

just had some 1 come out about this, this bloke is saying 12/18 months and £3,950!! the other 1 is same qualy but only £800! theres gotta be some regulation on this surely!

What qualifications do you get at the end? Its ranges from about £800 to like £1500 depending what year your doing

Don't do it, my mate done it and couldn't get work at the end.
If you want to do it you have to do it properly

So your doing 4 years worth of college in a year.
I dont see how that would even work tbh, people i went to college with struggled to do a one years worth of work in that time.

I wouldn't do it simply because you are not going to be a very good plumber at the end of it. Trades are 10% taught and 90% experienced. If you already had a trade and was using this as a supplement, for example a general builder or kitchen fitter who would find a basic knowledge of plumbing handy then fair enough but if you want to be a full time plumber then no chance, you've got to learn on the job from someone who has been doing it for years.

basically mis-sold the course and are scamming bastards, managed to get me into a loan agreement which can't be canceled either...so in the process of possible legal action if it gets any worse.
