Yeah, the Passat isn't ideal, but its perfect for practice shots.

I should be meeting with a guy with a Alpina B3 Bi-turbo Coupe to use his car sometime this week for some light painting shots.
I've also got a photo shoot with a 996 Turbo this evening, but those shots will be in natural light.

what oes the light box (a tourch in a cardboard box with a hole in it) give you,

is it jusy a defused light over the subject matter?

are you using a 30sec shutter speed or less?

Yeah, it basically gives a nice big panel of light instead of a focused beam.

The shutter speed varies, but normally between 15 and 30 seconds.

how do us make your car highlighted? i got an app on my phone that lets u use slow shutter speed

IT IS CLASS!

but i wanted to do it roun my car with just the light any tips to make sure i dnt end up in the pic?
