Okay so as you can see above, I have a brand new SRAM X7 short cage derailleur (9 speed) and shifter (also 9 speed) for sale.
They are both the 2011 model and haven't been fitted to a bike so they are in mint condition
I have this exact setup on my bike and they work amazingly well...fast shifting every time, even when pedalling uphill!

Here are the specs:

Derailleur

Overview
New Technologies, finish and family strategy create a cohesive performance story. X7 intends to deliver the highest value MTB components in class. Our proven derailleur chassis design returns this year for unmatched performance. We upgrade our materials story with a 3K carbon pulley cage. Finally we add our new finish and graphics package featuring Storm Grey finish.

Specs
- Speeds: 9
- Material: Alloy B knuckle, Alloy links, High Strength Grilon® Composite P-Knuckle, Serviceable sealed pulleys, 3K Carbon Cage
- Outer Cage: 3K Carbon Fiber, 6061 Alloy Option
- Inner Cage: Steel
- Pulleys: Bushing

Technologies
- 1:1 Actuation™
1:1 Actuation™ is superior by design. Every unit of cable you pull moves the derailleur the same amount. Actuation stays precise and fluid slogging through mud, bouncing off rocks, rutting through roots — wherever you find yourself, whatever conditions you're in. It's dependable. Tolerant. Easiest to set up. Easiest to adjust. And, not coincidentally, the top choice of the top MTB riders. Got it? Good.

- Direct Route Technology
Here's the dirt on middlemen: they suck. That's why Direct Route Technology™ doesn't have one. Instead, the cable routes directly to the actuation mechanism. Result? Less friction. Less effort. More oomph. Plus it's impervious to cable housing damage. Nice.

Shifter

Overview
The X7 represents the expansion and re-alignment of SRAM's highly successful trigger shifter line. We have taken many of the same high performance features and benefits that were only found on X9 and brought them to the X7 level.

Specification
- Recommended Group: SRAM 1:1® rear derailleurs, SRAM, Shimano® front derailleurs
- Finish: Painted Silver/Black
- Material: Grilon®

Technologies
- 1:1 Actuation™

Actuation stays precise and fluid slogging through mud, bouncing off rocks, rutting through roots — wherever you find yourself, whatever conditions you're in. It's dependable. Tolerant. Easiest to set up. Easiest to adjust. And, not coincidentally, the top choice of the top MTB riders. Got it? Good.

- MatchMaker Compatible
Save weight and clutter on the bar with MatchMaker. This system holds AVID® levers, a number of SRAM triggers and the RockShox PushLoc control—all with one tidy, light clamp.

- Zero Loss
Zero Loss simply means, well, zero loss—when you push on the lever, for an upshift or down shift, the cable is engaged instantly—zero loss of movement. There is no middle-ground where you're waiting for the shift to come. Gear changes are instant and precise.

I have a FSA team issue chain which goes with this set up perfectly! I have had it for a spare for a while now if any potential buyer is interested!
