No, they got rid of that, you only get charged if you are abroad and someone from UK is calling you.

o2 number won't get charged for receiving when at home in UK.

http://www.o2international.co.uk/faq/Default.aspx

'This is the same when receiving a call. Within the UK, there's no cost to receive a call as O2 don't get charged for that minute.'

they arent allowed to charge you for receiving the call because its a uk number and theres no way for you to know youd be getting charged before you received the call. same for ringing the numbers i think.

Every text i sent it used 4 of them from my contract. I get like 800-1000 texts a month on my contract and only sent a few a day, which i made of because i didnt want to go over. To top it off i was also checking my bill over there, it never said i was £206 over until they took the direct debit out.

Had another problem with my internet aswell. Rang them and asked if i can use my mobile as a modem for the internet on my laptop, they said yes its all free because my internet allowance was unlimited. Then they charged me something like £120 for it.
