Whats the main differences between the canon EOS1000D and EOS1100D?

Canon EOS 1000D £330

Canon EOS 1100D £400

For £70 extra it looks like your getting the newer model is it?

I bought the Eos 500D from BESTBUY at £499 (they priced matched Jabobs camera shop) and I got it on buy now pay in 12months 0%

the 1100d is the newer 1000d.
have a hold of it.. you'll feel a differnce over the 500D.

why I went for the 500d was it was £100+ less than the 550d.. that has the same spec albeit the 500d has 15mp and the 550d had 18mp. Botha re FULL HD 1080p video.
The 1100d is only HD at only 720p.

I'm well chuffed with the 500d.... go have a look at it is my recomendation.

i just bought a

Canon EOS 350D SLR Camera
18-55mm Lens
HOY 58mm Filter 1B
2BG Flash Memory Card
Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DG Macro

Over the moon with it, all for £230 second hand, didnt see the point buying a brand new one with less lenses for more as an entry photographer

maybe 5 years old but stil a very good entry level SLR, i just couldnt warrant spending £330 on a newer model and all the extras like lenses, bag, card, filters, coming to a total of over £500 just to say i have a new camera

You sure? - I thought the 500D was 1080p but only 20Hz (and 720p 30Hz) where as the 550D is 30Hz but can also do 720p 60hz for high speed action
