i noticed someone selling 256 discs with the calipers and it says their off a astra gte, so im presuming 2.0l brakes, what other models of vauxhall were these brakes fitted too? corsa 1.6 sport?
also whats the difference between 1.6 sport brakes and corsa gsi brakes?

mk3 astra gsi, calibra and cavi at a guess. 1.6 corsa brakes are smaller but unsure of exact size.

arent sport/gsi brakes 256x20mm and astra, cav, cali, etc 256x40mm?

256x20 for the 1.6 sport/gsi and 256x24 for the 2.0 brakes

^ correct. 2.0 Brakes have a larger piston too.
Loads of stuff have the 256x24mm brakes though.

are 15" rims okay with the 256 discs ?
I know 256 is 25.6cm which is about 10 inces, just wondered for the cooling as well

The Corsa GSI and Sport come from the factory with 14" wheels over 256's, so 15's will be fine. I ran 288's with 15's, but never had any problems with cooling.

Yeah 256mm brakes fit under 14s but not all of them. Certain nova alloys and steelies dont
