have not long bought a corsa b and im looking to purely track it soon and get a daily for work, can anyone give some advice on parts to upgrade before doing so?? as i want to get the handling and chassis as good as i can before i add cams or bodies or let engine as its a clean shell!
so far i can see ive got
chassis
koni adjustables all round ( dampers on rear)
cav discs and calipers on front and rear
strengthening kit for chassis
engine
stock xe engine with filter and straight through 2.5inch exhaust decatted
std ecu

can you get solid mounts etc for these ? and would you recommend them? cheers for reply!

You havent said what engine you have, unless im a retard.
You can make solid mounts, or atleast strengthen your current ones with tigerseal.
Strip it, its free and easy to do.

just make solid mounts if you mean the rubber bit? exhaust rubber bit cut up and sealer
if i was making a track 14xe/16xe id looking into totally upgrading the drivers side mount. they aren't very strong lol

Also think of the safety, bucket seat, a decent one not the cheap kind. Harness.

Cage, atb diff, decent adjustable shocks and springs, decent tyres eg 048r's, r888s, don't bother fitting a LET, xe on carbs or bodies are a lot more fun and reliable

U try drivin a fwd car with welded diff....,ot gona happen, diffs gona be bout 500 new or find one 2nd hand

Good brake fluid, braided brake lines, Good brake pads (ds2500?) Uprated rear arb (whiteline or cavalier one i think,) some decent track tyres on 15s and a decent seat and 4 point harness.
dont worry about a diff yet.

forgot to say its a 2.0 xe lads! are there any vauxhall wheels that are quite light weight that i could fit ive got a new set of cesaros at the minute and they seem heavy! strippage will commence next weekend now i think!
