Want to change the colour off the interior light to a blue colour output, wonder whats best ?? these blue bulbs the car accessory shops sell or maybe even use that special bulb paint, any recommendations for best results ??

I did this last week - bought some royal blue glass paint for £1.30.
Took bulb out and gave it about 4 coats 'cos after testing it after 2 it wasn't blue enough.
I now have a nice 'ice blue' interior when the doors open. the bulb does get hot but this is ok for the paitnt I got.
I just went to a local arts and crafts shop and they sorted me out.

yeah same here i did loads of coats on mine also did my bulb in the glove box haha n my haed lights they look well good but think i got carried away with it tho

did mine 2 weeks ago with a special paint but when the light is on for a few minutes there is a little smoke !!!
I use special bulb paint...
think I will remove it!.

i didnt use paint, i bourght green bulbs already coloured, its started too peel off now, but it does get alot of use when its parked up, cos if i have my neons on, the int light is on 2 cos itgives a nice green glow inside then

demon tweeks sell the bulbs for it, £2.99 i think for 2. Blue, green purple.

Have a spare can off that foilatec rear lens spray in a blue colour, anyone know if this will work with colouring the bulbs ??

does the light still light up bright enuff to see inside the car or is it dull now?
