It could be even better, still think it's a bit dry in the main bit. Big improvement on that crap with half the beats missing though.

I cant understand the point of dub step either tbh, its just dance music which everyone hates with as you said half the BPM and random bassline added.

The new weetabix add has ruined dub for me.
Dub isint what it use to be imo.
bass heavy tracks is automatically 'dub' from people who dont know what they're talking about. [/rant]

LMAO the only thing i could imagine coming from Bristol is the fact alot of older dubstep uses alot of jungle influences same goes for reggae, pretty much all older dubstep uses dubplate influnces like the soundsystems etc.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHaCSMJfGUA - watch this and educate yourself mate

EDIT: also look at this link read nearly every link http://lmgtfy.com/?q=where+did+dubstep+originate+from

No idea who told you that but Dubstep was 'born' in London, heavily influenced by Dub, 2-step, grime, jungle/dnb etc Only know this as i wrote an essay on the origins of Dubstep for uni a few years back.

Edit - Still think the original track is a lot better than Hardwell's remix, although that track is pretty commercial; a lot better dubstep about.

Brostep, brostep everywhere it's split massively now between the above junk i.e. Doctor P/Flux/Skrillex and the actual decent, dungeon sound
