General information - Owned Since January, not put a foot wrong during ownership, 2 new tyres on front less than 500 miles, newish tyres done 4,000 miles on rear,
reason for sale is I'm just genuinely bored and there is no need for me to have a diesel, might as well enjoy myself before i have to worry about commitments etc
Full Dealer Service History until i made sure previous owner had belts and water pump changed and serviced in january which was a german and french specialist down road from me, it is due a service now, i have bought the relevant items from audi/vw and about to get it booked in for a service
Specs - 2005/55 (facelift) Black A3 TDi Sport (140bhp version) 6 Speed Manual Gearbox, Optional Half Leather and Alacantara Seats with built in airbags (no bolster wear, one little mark from previous owner), Climate Control, BOSE 6 CD Symphony II sound system (1 pixel missing on screen-very common), optional multi-function Steering wheel for head unit, 2 Colour MFD with built in can-bus warning system(lighting, fuel, oil, coolant etc),mpg reading, miles in tank controlled by a stalk on steering column etc, Electric Windows/Mirrors.
general- car really is in cracking nick for the mileage which i suspect is due to the first owner being a rep company so it has done mainly motorway miles, I am 3rd owner, previous owner emigrated to australia,
it has the usual stone chips on bonnet and bumper and one small ding on the bottom right hand side of the skirt, spent many months looking for a reliable and good condition a3 to replace my clio and found this beaut it has driven faultlessly and has started first time every time (which I've never got used to, having french cars and corsa's) average about 49-50mpg around town, 55-60 on motorway, which i in no way benefit from as I've done around 7k since January, polished regularly I'm not gonna BS and say every weekend cause its really not, its washed regular about twice a month and polished once a month or maybe 2 months, (its not used enough to justify cleaning more regularly, as i commute via train 4 hours a day) either way the car looks clean, currently in the market for a 197 as i miss my clio.
MOT and TAX - 3 months MOT tax is up end of october, £125 a year will put 12 months on if i get right price
Price- as above £6000 ovno, there are plenty going for less, but not with the leather and the condition this is in, you will struggle to find one with this spec and condition with less than 130,000+ miles for less than £6000
