You won't be making any money in engineering either unless you've got a decent degree and you get a contracting job in oil and gas.

You don't go straight into contracting either, you'll be in a graduate program at best.
Certainly achievable but a plumber will be well in front of you in money stakes for a good few years yet.

Plumbing sucks dick its literally impossible to get a apprenticeship round here and the unemployment as well i cant even get a shit job in a highstreet store, i've even offered to work for free as well! so given up on that atm.
i would move out and look further from home but seeing as i cant afford to do that im stuck in hole atm and going uni seems a good choice i was considering Architeture as i do find it intresting, but im not completely sure what it would lead to job wise
Im not slating plumbers but it seems to me that nearly all of them are rude and ignorant and dont want to employ anyone without experience as it seems their wasting their time even though they will get a government grant for taking me and all that crap but there not intrested, im sure living in this shithole doesnt help either though think, im sure Polish, Pakistani and Kosova are the main languages in Medway now
