Ordered this, Guessing this is faulty in my car? All plugs seem to be connected

Yep that'll be the problem m8 and when you replace it for god sake dont overtighten it because its a tapered thread

Somewhere in the rad, cant remember exactly. One is temp sensor and one is fan switch.

Side of the rad is the fan switch, temp sensor is on the thermostat I think

The one on the thermostat is for the engine coolant temp (if it is on the thermostat, iirc it is). The one on the side of the rad is a thermoswitch that is for automatically turning your fan on. The sensor for the MFD temp display, outside temp, is behind the front bumper, can't mind what side

its in the side of the thermostat on mine (1.6) fan switch is in the rad and looks totally different. coolant will come out when you change it

Yeh it has a plug going into it, thinking that the one I bought is for an 8v

...and you've put the new temp sensor in and its still not working??
you have got the connector back on aye? or has the connector got crap all over it?

No I can't see where the old temp sensor is and think I've bought the wrong one lol

dont think theres much difference if any
just look at the side of the thermostat
cant remeber were bout they are on the 1.2 16vs but im pretty sure its the same as most. top front of the engine, left hand side looking in the bay
