my gf just got rid of one of those, but the 1.4 16v one. It was crap on fuel, electric windows die and are a pain to sort, speedo sensor stopped working, engine mounts were on their way out, crank sensor crap so randomly it just wouldn't start and bits or trim always falling off especially round the drivers side, car had only done just over 50k on a 51 plate. Not a fan.

Really struggling to think of something good think they have a decent euro ncap saftey rating compared to other cars in the class and price range?

Although Renault sometimes diagnose the crank sensor it can be immobiliser too as the key/barrel/ecu is crap.

New batt in the key and reprograme it and it will be better at starting
