Evening all, most annoying news ever at work, they have decided today to not allow me to go on holiday from the 30th October to the 6th of November even though I am going on holiday which was booked over the weekend.

It was booked via AMEX, is there any way I can ring them and get the credit card company to refund the money?

Otherwise I am seriously out of pocket

Did they give you a good reason for cancelling the holiday? As far as i know as soon as something like that is signed off they can't really cancel it without you accepting it

If its been signed off then if they want you to cancel the holiday I would be telling them t cover the complete cost of the holiday along with compensation for having to cancel.
