dont spend more than you have too...

some of the coolers on ebay are pretty good (read same!).

Avoid buying in kit form too - esp from the likes of Think Automotive. Just work out what you need and buy the parts.

126deg oil is VERY high.

I dont like seeing ours over 100deg and thats with ragging on track for 15mins or so.

16row 230mm cooler, thermostatic plate - job done

got one on the car, not plumbed in at the moment though, was only reducing it by about 10 degrees max , as AK says i only get my temp upto around 100 degress celsius after hard hard driving.

some people say oil will be ok upto 120 degrees but personally too high for me aswell

Oh... The GTR used to have a MOCAL cooler before it spun a bearing. We replaced it with a 19row cooler off ebay - same fittings etc. Was less than half price.

mine gets high pretty quickly tbh, most of the time i notice it over 100.

i take it they just need an "in" and an "out" pipe and mounting on car somewhere.

is already some standard oil cooler (i think) but looks pretty small and useless

fit a thermostatic sandwich plate (goes between oil filter and modine).... In/Out to cooler

Something doesnt sound quite right with the engine if you reg over 100?

What are you water temps?

Corrado Vr6 does run hot and is known for suffering heat problems, i think thats why everything plastic cracks and breaks in the engine bay

Water temp is quite low, used to be around 100, but since fitting loads of things it seems to show up between 80-90 on the gauge, (started to think the gauge was a bit faulty as seemed too low)

something like - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JJC-Competition-Oil-Cooler-235MM-Wide-16-Row-10-JIC-Race-Rally-Trackday-/300604784705?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45fd710041

Dont even contemplate buying second hand coolers. Why is it getting sold.... whats been through it... whats still lurking in it (bearing swarf etc)

Yeah i swear the water gauge is wrong, ever since i fitted the new aux water pump i've been paranoid about it.

Pump comes on and seems to run all the time
