Can anyone tell me exactly what oil I should be putting in the Vauxhall 3.2 V6? Everywhere as usual says different. I've seen 5W30 fully synth mentioned a couple of times tho but not sure.

Cheers

According to that, it's 5w 30 which sounds about right.

If you're unsure what oil is currently in, you'll be best off doing a full oil change.

This is an issue, as I don't. The light came on this morning saying I should check the oil too

Is it a massive deal if I mix them if the current wasn't 5W30?

I know with VAG PD130 your allowed to mix up to 1 litre of 5w40 and 5w30 before it has any effect

Im sure a top up would be ok until you got time to do a full change, preferably sooner rather than later. Hasnt got a timing chain has it?
