How is this done I pushed falward and undone the bolt in the runner but the bolt in the gold thing seems impossible and how else ???

The bolt in the 'gold thing' has to be removed and the same at the other side. A good socket bar should see it loosen off.

you can remove the seat from the runners first if you want. 4 bolts in each corner of the seat fix it to the runners. might give you better access to the other bolt if you still want to remove it

i have always removed mine that way, 4 bolts are a bit fiddly but it was the only way round it for me lol
