4-1's hang very low and often scrape on the ground 24/7 and generally dont give as much gains as a 4-2-1 iirc

4.2.1 for performance and ground clearance
4.1 normally cheaper
4.1 on 15's with 60mm drop left me about 14mm ground clearance
it was shocking

4-2-1 will give more low down power, 4-1 will push it further up the rev range.
If you've got an powerbox inlet you will 100% want a 4-2-1 as the power band will end up going too high with a 4 branch.

4-1 is better higher up the rev range. 4-2-1 is better for lower down power

the pic i shown you above says it all mate lol, that was on 195/45/15 tyres and lowerd 60mm jamex full kit all round, the front sprins have been changed to 30mm drop (still looks lower than people would expect) but doesn't seem to scrape the deck much now unless parking on a curb or taking speed bumps like your in a landrover

On my x14xe the 4-1 made it feel slower
