Hi so mum's finally got round to buying a new car and our old Corsa imo is destined for scrapyard heaven. It's a 1999 1.0 12v GLS 5 door in white with 68k miles... dents, scratches, it's a heap. What's the going rate for scrapping atm, I've seen £200 on some adverts I think?

Don't suppose it's really worth chucking it on eBay is it?

If you can get a accurate price on scrapping (Perhaps call up somewhere local and ask price per ton) and then put it on ebay with the scrap price as reserve or starting bid, Might get more than you expect.

68k is bugger all for a 12 year old car too.

Nothing to lose by sticking it on eBay. Will probably end up in another country

Down to £120 a tonne round here so you will probably get around that

Oh and the water in the fuel tank etc works but if they find out then they will have your car and you wont get a penny for it and be made to look like a mug
