Going to be some big clashes in the next round. Impossible for all of the big teams to avoid each other...

You hear that all the time but lets be honest, its always been a priority for a number of top clubs... aside form a small period aroudn the turn of the century (sound all 1900s there lol) the finals have generally been contensted between 1 or 2 of the top teams, the fact of the matter being that there are only 3 or 4 competitiosn that any team can win so its always beneficial to try and do well... see the list of finals goign back to 96

Aston Villa vs. Leeds United
Leicester City vs. Middlesbrough
Chelsea vs. Middlesbrough
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Leicester City
Leicester City vs. Tranmere Rovers
Liverpool vs. Birmingham City
Blackburn Rovers vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Liverpool vs. Manchester United
Middlesbrough vs. Bolton Wanderers
Chelsea vs. Liverpool
Manchester United vs. Wigan Athletic
Chelsea vs. Arsenal
Tottenham Hotspur vs. Chelsea
Manchester United vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester United vs. Aston Villa
Birmingham City vs. Arsenal
