right i changed the engine in my corsa b the other day from a 1.2 to a 1.4 they were both spi's 8v's and it dosn't seem that much quicker i used the 1.4 inlet but had to use the 1.2 exhaust manifold could this be the reason it is slow cheers nick

It's only 15bhp different, what were you expecting.
Exhaust system is the same iirc

If you wanted a half decent change you shoulda put a 1.4 16v in

iv been in other 1.4's and they were quicker ans they were standard ?

Oh lol. What's the fuel pump like? Checked the fuel limes ect? Air leaks?

thats just it iv checked everything but all fine lol think il go with mpi conversion
