im new to the site but please please help me, i have a 1.4 corsa sport with a c20xe conversion, it ran fine for about a week but then 1 day it decided to start playing up, the EML flashes on and the engine looses power for about 1 second then works again, almost as if the key is being turned off then on again, from all the things iv read up on it sounds to me like its the MAF? i also read something about cone airfilters breathe in too much hot air and confuses the MAF causing it to do this, anyone had the same problem? or no any solutions please help! cheers

Flash up the codes, that should tell you one way or the other.

thanks, do you no if the ecu will store the code even though it only flashes for a second or so?

some times they do, its worth a look to see what is stored anyway.
