As some of you know my car was starved of oil bottom end, and will be coming ou again to have the following done.

sump set
headgasket_headbolts
bearings and crankgrind
flat top pistons
overbore
lighten flywhel balance standard rods

I'm also getting a type c exhaust system

Engines already had top end rebuild.

What would you suggest next, budget ontop of that is about £500

Excellent, hear lots of good things about Phillip.

Get a quaife mate, no one looks back after getting one fitted. Apparently the best £500 you can spend....

Not to mention I had one in my Corsa B 20XE and in the Astra, awesome.

Agree on the lsd i had a quaife in mine together with a straight cut 4.5 final drive and it made it a totally different car, loads more fun. The gearset is over your budget mind but the diff is well worth it on its own.

(might as well fit arp rod bolts whilst your having the bottom end done too, its not mentioned in the list)

Can vouch for that with the brown stains in my trousers after being taken for a blast around lakeside roundabouts.

Videos and old forum tales will not do it justice, you just need to take our word for it and do it. Phillip who is a man of men who likes to drive fast should be able to also vouch for them, they are fucking mental.

Even have a search on the forums, I'm sure you'll find people not being sure before and then afterwards wetting their pants with delightment.

If you have a F20/F16 you are looking at £500 fitted if you can get a deal somewhere.

Difs make an unreal differance, a 150bhp xe with a dif would probably be quicker than a 180bhp xe without a dif on the twisties etc.

Fitted a 6spd and dif to mark pryds corsa let, the differance outside unit was wheelspin and barely moving and abit of wheel spin and tearing up the road.
