my interior light stays on whether or not the doors are shut/open or the key is out of the ignition. i looked behind the drivers door interior light pin and there are two wires plugged into the back, i then looked behind the passenger side and there is only one. i had a small torch in there and cant see another wire anywhere . could someone check if theirs has two please? its a 30second job with a torx or allen key.

cheers

That is how its meant to be

I assume the switch isn't pulled out (Assuming its same as corsa B, I can't remember)

so theres only supposed to be one grey wire going to the back of the switch? nothing is pulled out.

is there any way of testing if the pins work?

Yeah, The passenger side is just to operate the interior light, the drivers side has the same grey wire and then I can't remember what the blue is for exactly

If you unscrewed the pin and it went off, it would be the issue as they earth through the screw.

They are so simple though they don't offen break in that way, Normally don't come on, Not don't go off.

Other things to try would be to unplug the headlight switch, They offen go wrong. (Assuming you pull headlight switch out to turn interior light on, think that is the case with C's).

Otherwise its going to be a short (The live goes up to the light and then its the earth side that turns it on), Or previous dodgy wiring.

Press the headlight switch in. It's a push on, push off for the interior light, worth a try before you go any further.

Yeah, quite easy to accidentally knock it on if you're a bit too harsh turning your lights on/off.

The second pin on the drivers side is for lights on and ignition key in warning buzzers.
