Hi,
Can someone just post the internet settings for vodafone?
Was working when I got the phone, then transferred the number across and it stopped working
I've got the WAP one setup, but nothing else. Added a new access point with "Vodafone, username = web and password = web", but still got no internet other than wifi. Details I found on vodafones website...
Just want to make sure these things are set up before I phone them up and get told i'm a spaz.
On HTC Sensation if it makes any difference!
Cheers

Vodafone uses a variety of different APNs (Access Point Names) to manage the point at which you connect to the 3G or GPRS networks. The APN you need depends on the service/connection that you want to use.
The settings for connecting to the Internet APN are:
APN: Internet
Username: web
Password: web
The settings for connecting to the WAP APN are:
APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username: wap
Password: wap
You may also need the Access Point Name (APN) added to your account to allow you to access the internet - to arrange this please contact Customer Service.

Phoned them up, they sent me an email with the WAP settings on them, and it's done nothing, I knew the WAP settings already, I didn't need them, I needed to know why it's not working.
Going to have to go to the shop to speak to someone

Mate, if they're still dicking you around then let me know and I'll get the VIP guys onto it for you - they'll call you up and run you through everything you need

I went in to the shop today, she looked at the settings, they were correct. Refreshed the page and it came up with the same error. She then went in eBay and it worked fine. So god knows what she did. But seems to work for now.
Could just be that derby has no 3g but that seems unlikely and the voda website says it's fine, so fingers crossed for when I'm back there
