What happens with weights when towing with an A frame?

Does it count as braked/unbraked? does it not matter so much?

Will be classed as an unbraked trailer so car cant be over 750kg, they are only supposed to be used for recovery

Yeah you can use anything if you want to take the risk but if you want to keep within the law, they're for recovery.

Edit: And obviously being outside of the law can have other consequences than just being caught.

If you get pulled surely you just say you have "recovered" whatever you are towing?

The guy I know has been using one for about 20 years lol.

If you're more than 10 miles from your cars registered address I'd say you'd struggle to argue the recovery case. More so if you're on the way home from a track 100 miles from home.
