used to be a shit hole, not so bad anymore. its right in the center aswell. the same quality as you'd expect from any other major city

where i went to liverpool was nice, you only had to travel 10 mins out of it though to find the shit holes

Ste. Helen's is full of no neckers.
Liverpool is good these days, lots to do and see and generally much better looking since all the investment over the last 5-10 years. Certainly not a 'shit hole'.

the docks and liverpool one is nice, the rest of it is discusting, I never said st helens was nice.

The rest of is most certainly not 'disgusting', yes it's got it's bad spots but every city has and it's also got plenty of other nice parts than just L1 or the docks.
Most of the major cities had riot's, it's not ideal and doesn't do the city any favours but it was caused by a small minority (as it was in every city). St. Helen's is hardly a major city so no real suprise you didn't have any rioting problems.
