Hi all,

going for first time on Friday and looking to book an apartment on hotels.com for 3 people.

Cheap as possible please! Options are pretty limited but any help would be cool (for people who have gone before!)

Also- how cheap is it? No idea how many "Lats" I need to take as we are there all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Cheers!

Folks lived there for a while. Got told the women in the centre are hot as fuck Gets cheaper and more decrepit the more you move out of the centre where people are living in sheds at the side of roads and shit apparently. Had no desire to visit them there.

My flatmate went a few months ago. Although he's from the Caribbean, he looks Asian and he said that people were quite awkward with him and openly racist towards him.

Not sure if that makes your mind up.

Is it pretty expensive though? We are staying in an apartment as cheaper than a hotel and should enable us to keep costs down a bit (get some bacon and have a fry up ha)

Cheers

Get Lats over there. Maybe get like 50 here.
Currency should be much better over there. Check out few banks though, as exchange rates differ from place to place. Price wise not sure as never been out in Riga itself. Can't imagine it being more expensive than over here. you want to go some where that does real eastern European/latvian food though.
