just went in, some good deals to be had.
all dvds/cds/blu rays are 50% off marked price.
all computer games were 20% off but obviously the decent ones were all gone.
bought a pure mini one dab radio for £28.79

We needed some new Kitchen stuff so got the Red Morphy Richards Kettle and Toaster and the red Daewoo microwave, was a fair bit cheaper than any i've found elsewhere 
Kettle was £29.99 (£10 cheaper than elsewhere) and got a further 20% off too

Yeah online, thought they may have updated to what was left og the stock or what ever. Don't have a shop local either, 50% off would have been nice.

Well their stratergy was to start as the cheapest electrical etc seller. But as the months progressed their goal was to keep custom levels while moving their prices inline with the likes of Currys and other well established stores.
I guess this is great if you have hundreds of stores like currys, but 12? across the UK? Who is going to travel extra mileage for something the same price closer to home. Im not a financial analysist but even i can tell that will never work.
Oh and btw, this is the worst closing down sale ever. Where is 50% on everything lol!

It was an arrogant move by the twat who owns Carphone Warehouse, to set up a business to compete with the likes of Currys and Comet, who by the way are in the worst condition theyve ever been in before, using their 'huge buying power' (to supply all of 12 stores in the UK) to sell us tat that Americans want, rather than what the european market goes for. That does sound a bit mental I hadn't even realised that they had set up over here until recently because of there not being one anywhere near close to Oxford. Who in their right mind would try and take on the Dixons group anyway? Madness.
