Was driving my corsa 1.3 cdti tonight and the service light came on (car with the spanner in it). Everything was fine until i tryed to rev past 3000rpm and i get no power ive only tried this in 1st and 2nd gear anyone got any help at what this could be or some advice? Thanks

its limp home mode, prevents any further damage to the engine. go and get the management light read, then fixed

to reduce damage to the engine? that is the reason.

because the ecu detects a fault and goes into a limp home mode. as said above, because there is a fault.

ill strongly 2nd that ^

veryyyyy common leading to EGR valve needs taking off and cleaning out or replacing and inlet manifold needs removing and blasting out with a pressure washer seen loads come through our garage
