When did they start doing this?

I got a couple of logbooks through today to replace the last style Blue ones.

Little note says they are replacing them all with the new red ones.

Helped me as I had lost one of the logbooks and was about to spend £25 on a new one.

Amazingly they haven't fucked up either of them too.

Few months ago I think, apparently they're doing it because somebody stole a load of the blue ones.

as above, i too heard that a batch of blues were stolen.

I know about the old blue ones getting nicked and then the new red ones, But actually sending out replacement red ones is not something I'd expect from the DVLA.

I now have two logbooks for one of my cars.

Ages ago, I had 2 red ones for my 106 in January of this year.
