Any 6 or 7 digit number should give you a serial.
Random stuff should tell you it can't find the code.
Hammering it should tell you you're denied.
See what happens.

Using 6/7 digit numbers gave me a serial code, and the option to say thanks
Random letters and figures just wiped the code out so I'd have to re-enter.
Under 6/7 numbers told me to try again.
After a few different codes it told me usage exceeded.

Just something small, but it might be worth changing the heading as it's not just the 6000 CD it works for but indeed the 5000 and any other m series stereo. I thinks there's a way of getting the stereos m number without having to remove using the number pad il try and dig it out

I've done that in the past to get the code in the display but it didn't give me the same number which then gave me an incorrect code.
If there's a thread with information of how to remove the unit and a pic of the sticker I'll link that from that page.
Will change the header.

Yeah should be useful.
There's a thread on Money Saving Expert which I want to get a bit of traffic from.
Might do something more with making people register or spend a bit more time on the site or something, don't know yet.
Also needs indexing.

Don't want to be too strict, will be people in Transit vans who just want a code, may as well give them one without too much faffing.
Hopefully if anyone wants to register they will do.
