Right, cutting a long story short, used the car Friday, worked fine no issues as had all week.
Monday morning went to start it up, all I got was a clicking noise, one attempt at turnover before this.
Tuesday night, turnover doesn't happen, and just clicking.....thought start might be jammed so popped in gear and rocked back and forward. Tried again, no clicking, no turnover, in fact nothing....dash lights up, remove key and the dash lights all stay on??
Is it just a flat battery or am I looking at something more major???
Help, opinions most welcome

It's worth jump starting it just in case.

Sounds like the battery but dash lights staying on is a strange on, curious to whether you sorted this.

The cold has killed off the battery. They only last a few years.

Battery as suggested. Once you get it jump started if you have a multimeter handy might be a good idea to check the alternator is charging as well.
