Well i thought it was about time i made a project thread iv had the car since August, not had much luck with it if im honest cambelt snapped and crank was worn so put new engine in it.

How it was....

Fixed it



plans over the winter are get my cav slabs refurbed in anthracite and get the gsi kit fitted then i'll see what next year brings

good job on the repair mate. did you have to change the front panel / slam panel at all? if so was it a big job to do? need to do mine soon

the repairs not bad and iv got cav slabs that are in for a refurb this weekend then will be going on after winter when i get tyres its a sportex backbox

and yes i did change the slam panel was £32 from a local bodyshop supplies its was particularly that bigger job we just drilled the welds out burnt the bigger bits off then used a chisel for the small bits that were left the new one wasnt to hard to get in all in all it took us about 4 hours for 2 of us doing it

also paint the sport wheels and deck it, too many ardon blues with slabs now

i kno but iv had my slabs years and prefair them over the sport wheels so i want them back on it
