Not the prettiest of cars if im honest. Bet they aren't cheap either.

1.6 20v engine with ITB's. Bet it sounds awesome.

That white looks like a cross between a r33 and a dc5 in my opinion.

Thought it was going to be a square black and white car but totally different.

My friend Damian had one. Brilliant cars really. Couldn't fault it plus with ITB's as standard its quite impressive.

i think it looks kinda pretty tbh thats y i got it in the first place and fancied something not so common, i;ve got the 20v 1600 on itb but trying to source the supercharged versions internals and boost it eventually, 170bhp aint bad for a N/A 1.6 so it'll do for the time being

I'm guessing your one isn't standard? I've read somewhere that they are 162bhp? (165PS). They are indeed an ugly car, but still love the engine!

They were very popular over here.
There are some really nice examples and some really badd ones. They are not a car that takes to full on jap styling.

Power wise, as standard, they are over rated. Many have been tested over here and most never make the 160bhp.

yeh heard about that and not to sure what to think tbh, i've seen standard dyno graphs getting claimed power n some only being round 150, just think its down to how well its been looked after, got mine off a 65 year old man with arthritis who did 8k miles in 4 years sold cos he couldn't get in it anymore

I used to own a Toyota Trueno BZG





It was a little fugly to look at, but i liked it! was pretty quick tbh, would beat my mates corsa 1.8 sri time and time again! there is a guy on civic life who has put a honda k20 in his! will be very quick when finished! i took my trueno to a corsa sport rr day and mine made 147bhp from what i remember! remember in japan they run high ron fuel, so the power may be slightly more than on uk fuels.
