Been looking through everyone's threads on here who's done the conversion. Been learning about them and getting a few ideas.

Does anyone know any other decent one's on different forums? Links will be helpful.

I did a couple of taking the parts and engine from the calibra then a seperate one for the conversion week.

tbf i did mine about three months ago and all iv used for mounting it which was different to standard was the front engine conversion bracket, i used standard rear gearbox mount and selector and standard front gearbox mount and i havent had any troubles. take a look at my build if you want its on www.corsa-b.co.uk look for the pricers arden blue b in the project thread section it might be of some use to you.

It's a good read. LIke what you did with airbox bracket,i'll be taking mine off to put cone filter in.

How did you mount yours?

Type 2 Drivers mount.

Cut the lip off the bottom gearbox mount, ran the standard linkage.

No issues, my 1st XE had a spaced gearbox mount and extended linkage and i never liked how the engine sat. (I bought my 1st XE built, as i wasnt sure it was worth building one)
