Need a new laptop, don't do a huge amount on it, but want a decent spec to help 'future proof' it as it were.

Seen this HP at PC world and this Dell. Which one should I get. Apart from the HP having an i5 processor over the Dell's i7 and the slightly slower harddrive speed in the HP they look similar. Is the Dell really worth the extra money? I know you get the Adobe Elements stuff with the Dell which is a bonus and I suspect it'll be put together slightly better, but is it worth it for an extra £300?

[edit] Links would be useful!

HP

DELL

In a word - No. What will you be using it for? If its just for general use then get the HP all day long.

What a stupid comment.

Get a similarly priced Dell instead of the HP, if it's got NBD warranty it's far better than the HP.

Went an bought the HP in the end... Build quality isn't all that, but for what I use it for, its more than sufficient, good deal for 400 sheets...
