Drop links, lower arm bushes, rot.
Look for crash damage too. Worn interiors.
Is it a 138 or a 180?

FLOL, you don't find rot on a 206! they are fully hot dip galvanised from the factory and very very rarely rot. I think you are thinking of Fords and Vauxhalls there because every one of them i've had rusts like a nail.
On a serious note, main thing to fail on them are the water ingress seals on the rear beam trailing arms causing the bearings to seize, then wearing out the stub axle causing it to wobble. This is an MOT fail, but is easily fixed for £150 by getting a new stub axle pressed in and new bearings and seals.
Other than that, same faults you'll find on any 12 year old car for £500
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Back axles, and wiring problems.
Had problems with the looms passing through the doors.
